The appropriate language to use in an email depends on who you’re sending it to. For example, if you were sending an email professionally like a business email would be formal with the correct use of spelling and grammar. But if you’re sending an email to a friend the language would be very informal with the use of slang, acronyms and emoji’s. “However, this really defeats the purpose of sending an email as it’s known as an electronic version of sending a letter which usually consisted of the use of formal language.”
